See-level offers personalized coaching and study skills tutoring (K–16) and small-group academic- and social enrichment for curious learners who love to grow together.
I offer small, rigorous, and joyful writing classes (in person and online), and enrichment workshops designed to make kids excited to learn and eager to learn together.
In addition to group classes, I offer one-on-one tutoring and group coaching for students from kindergarten through high school. Support includes study skills, executive function, reading, writing, language development, social growth, goal setting, and life skills—all in a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Sessions are available in person or online.
Group classes for K–8 learners meet in and around Alameda and Oakland—sometimes stretching as far as Berkeley. We gather in homes, libraries, museums, redwood groves, and even at the beach!
Writing classes are rigorous, content-rich, and skills-based.
Enrichment classes are hands-on and collaborative.
Coaching and tutoring are individualized, warm, and encouraging.
Led by a knowledgeable and supportive instructor, students build core academic skills, engage with challenging content, and learn how to approach challenges with confidence. Each class is designed to foster focus, resilience*, and intellectual growth—while still leaving room for a movement break and meaningful connection. Students are encouraged to stretch their thinking, take academic risks, and develop strong habits that support lifelong learning.

*My guiding idea about education and life is that if I’m always good at everything I’m not trying enough new things. Or, as the great Samuel Beckett put it in this oft-quoted way : Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.
