Sometimes students just need a little extra support to build confidence and keep moving forward. Whether your child is learning to read, struggling with spelling, or needs individualized coaching, small-group labs and one-on-one tutoring are good options for practical help in a warm, encouraging environment. Please reach out to learn more about what I offer and if it is a good fit for your student.

Designed for beginning and struggling readers in grades K–2, 3–5, and 6–8, this lab helps students who “hate” reading or find it difficult to learn. With small-group support and engaging activities, children build essential skills and gain the confidence they need to become successful readers.

For reluctant spellers in grades K–2, 3–5, and 6–8/HS, our spelling lab uses games, rules, and strategies to make spelling less frustrating and more fun. Students improve accuracy while discovering that learning to spell can actually be enjoyable.

Private sessions are available for students K–16 who benefit from one-on-one attention. Focus areas include study skills, executive function, language concepts, reading and writing, social skills, and goal-setting. Sessions are warm, nonjudgmental, and tailored to each student’s needs.
